Pramod Muthalik Issues Warning on ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ Statements

Gadag

Shri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik on Sunday delivered a fiery speech at the Hindu Maha Ganesh Utsav Dharmasabha in Gajendragada, warning that individuals born and raised in India who express support for Pakistan would face strict action.

Muthalik condemned what he called anti-Hindu elements and “traitors” in the country, asserting, “Those who say ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ despite enjoying Indian citizenship and facilities will be confronted at their homes.” He addressed the statement to radical elements, urging them to leave for Pakistan if they truly support it, calling the country a “beggar nation.”

Highlighting perceived attacks on Hindu festivals, Muthalik cited incidents during Ganesh processions in Maddur and Nagamangala, where stone-pelting and violence targeted devotees. He accused certain groups of attempting to Islamize, Christianize, and communist-ize India, and emphasized that the Hindu community would no longer remain passive.

“The era of silent tolerance is over,” he declared, invoking revolutionary figures like Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Veer Savarkar, and Shivaji Maharaj as inspirations for a new movement to protect Hindu festivals, processions, and temples. He warned that future attacks, attempts at abduction of Hindu girls, or assaults during celebrations would be met with strong retaliation.

Muthalik also stated that Hindus would no longer flee from trouble spots, citing past migrations from Kashmir, Assam, and Kerala, and declared that the community would now stand firm in defending their faith, festivals, and cultural events.
