Daiji teaser unveiled on Ramesh Aravind’s birthday

Veteran actor Ramesh Aravind, admired for his versatile performances, is celebrating his birthday with a special surprise from his team. The teaser of his upcoming film Daiji, where he plays the lead role, was unveiled to mark the occasion. Within hours of its release, the teaser received huge appreciation and quickly gained thousands of views online.

Producer Ravi Kashyap recalled that he had shared this story idea with director Akash Srivatsa nearly ten years ago. The film is inspired by a real incident I witnessed abroad. Today, it has finally taken shape, thanks to the hard work of our technicians and actors. The movie looks no less than an international project, and we are eager to bring it to audiences soon, he said.

Director Akash Srivatsa highlighted a special link with numerology, noting that Daiji is his third collaboration with Ramesh Aravind, his third film with Radhika Narayan, and his third partnership with Ravi Kashyap. He explained that Daiji, which translates to the God of Spirits, explores love, death, and supernatural forces. Ramesh plays Surya, Radhika appears as Bhoomi, and Diganth takes on the role of Gagan, Surya’s younger brother. The trailer will be launched soon, with the release planned either at the end of this year or early next year.

Expressing his joy, Ramesh said the film offers a fresh take on horror and praised the team for their dedication. The film also features cinematography by Sreesh Kuduvalli, editing by Akash Srivatsa, and music by Judah Sandy.
