Bengaluru witnessed a traffic disruption on Sunday when a tractor trailer overturned on the Jakkur flyover towards Kempegowda International Airport. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, which could have otherwise turned serious given the high volume of vehicles that use the stretch daily. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred during the afternoon when the tractor, reportedly carrying construction material, lost balance while negotiating a curve on the flyover. The trailer detached and flipped onto its side, spilling the load across the road. Motorists passing by were forced to stop suddenly, leading to a brief traffic disruption on the busy route that connects the city to the airport. Traffic police immediately rushed to the spot and diverted vehicles through alternate lanes to ease congestion. Tow trucks were deployed to remove the overturned trailer, and workers cleared the debris to restore normal traffic movement. The entire process took nearly an hour, but authorities confirmed that no major delays were experienced for airport-bound travelers.
