RGV, Manoj reunite for horror comedy film

After 27 years, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actor Manoj Bajpayee are coming together once again for a new horror comedy film titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. The two last worked together on the cult classic Satya in 1998, which became a landmark film in Indian cinema.

RGV shared his excitement, saying, “Working with Manoj again after Satya feels both nostalgic and exciting. A police station is seen as a place of safety, so adding fear into that setting makes the story more gripping.”

The movie also stars actress Genelia Deshmukh. Varma added, “With Manoj’s powerful acting and Genelia’s emotional depth, this film will explore fear in a new and unexpected way.”

The filming has already begun, and the first schedule is complete. The movie promises to mix fear, humor, and RGV’s unique storytelling style.

Satya, their earlier film, focused on crime in Mumbai and is seen as a turning point in gangster movies in Bollywood. It received critical praise and a National Film Award. The film helped launch realistic crime films in India and led to follow-ups like Company and Satya 2.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see this exciting duo back in action.
