BJP MP Ramesh Jigajinagi accused the Congress party and Leftists of conspiring against Hindu religious institutions, warning that such moves will not be tolerated. “If Lord Shiva opens his third eye, none of them will survive,” he said.
Speaking to reporters after the Dharmasthala Chalo! rally in Vijayapura, Jigajinagi declared that those opposing Hinduism would be ruined and “chased out” of the state, just as they were driven out earlier.
Demanding that the alleged conspiracy against Dharmasthala be investigated by the NIA, the BJP staged a massive protest as part of the rally. Several leaders, including former minister Appasaheb Patnashhetti, district president Gurulingappa Angadi, Umesh Katti Karajol, Ravi Bagali, Dr. Suresh Biradar, and others, joined the agitation.
