After delivering the blockbuster mytho sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, which grossed a massive Rs. 1100 crores worldwide, director Nag Ashwin is reportedly gearing up for another project before Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 begins production. Due to Prabhas’ packed schedule, the sequel will take some time to start filming.
In recent buzz, Nag Ashwin has apparently met Superstar Rajinikanth and pitched him a film idea. Sources say the veteran star liked the concept and requested a full script from the young director.
This isn’t the first time Rajinikanth has been approached by new-gen filmmakers—Tollywood’s Vivek Athreya also met him earlier, but no project has materialized yet.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see if this collaboration between Nag Ashwin and Thalaivar Rajinikanth will come to life or remain just industry speculation.
