Ahead of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession on September 14, a peace committee meeting was conducted at the Police Commissioner’s Office to ensure a safe and harmonious celebration. Representatives from the Serat Committee, all Jamat committees, and senior police officials participated to discuss security, traffic management, and logistics.
Youth leader Amaan Sait facilitated coordination between community members and authorities, while DCP Narayan Barmani and City Police Commissioner Bhushan Gulabrao Borase reviewed preparedness measures. Participants stressed cooperation with law enforcement, adherence to guidelines, and maintaining public harmony. Officials assured full support and urged community leaders to promote discipline and mutual respect during the religious event.
