Chelsea crush West Ham 5-1 in London derbyLondon

Chelsea earned their first Premier League win of the season in style, crushing West Ham 5-1 at London Stadium in a one-sided derby. Despite losing Cole Palmer to injury before kickoff, the Blues delivered a powerful performance.

West Ham started strong with Lucas Paqueta scoring a brilliant goal in the sixth minute. But Chelsea quickly turned things around. Joao Pedro led the comeback with a header to level the score and then assisted Pedro Neto for the second. Enzo Fernandez made it 3-1 before halftime after fine work from Estevao and Liam Delap.

Chelsea kept up the pressure in the second half. Moises Caicedo tapped in from a corner after a goalkeeper mistake, and Trevoh Chalobah made it five after another assist by Joao Pedro.

The defeat leaves West Ham at the bottom of the table, with back-to-back heavy losses. Their defense looked shaky throughout, and returning manager Graham Potter faced boos from fans as his team was outplayed.

Chelsea, now boosted by the win, will look to carry momentum into games against Fulham and Brentford. For West Ham, the pressure is on, and changes may be needed fast to stop their early-season slide.
