Three workers died after a three-storey building collapsed near Sadbhavna Park in Delhi’s Daryaganj on Wednesday. Police identified the victims as Zubair, Gulsagar, and Taufiq, who were working at the site when the structure gave way. They were trapped under the debris and declared dead at the hospital.

Officials said the incident was reported around 12:14 pm. Police teams, four fire tenders, and rescue officials quickly reached the spot. The injured were rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital. Authorities, including the DDMA, were informed and legal action will follow once facts are verified.

A Delhi Fire Services official said the building collapsed suddenly during ongoing construction work. Three others were rescued and taken to hospital. Teams from NDRF, police, and fire services are continuing operations with heavy machinery to clear debris. The exact cause of the collapse is still being investigated.
