A shocking incident occurred at a private school in Ahmedabad where a Class 10 student was allegedly stabbed by his junior after a quarrel. The injured student was rushed to hospital but died later that night. The next day, angry locals vandalised the Seventh Day Adventist School and attacked staff. Gujarat Education Minister Praful Pansheriya confirmed that a Class 9 student was responsible and has been detained. Calling the act a serious warning to society, he urged people to remain calm as police investigate.
