Belagavi
A Star Air flight (S5111) from Belagavi to Mumbai returned safely to Sambra airport just 15 minutes after takeoff when a fuel leak was detected in one of its engines. The aircraft was carrying 48 passengers, all of whom are safe. Airport Managing Director Tyagaraj said passengers were accommodated on another Star Air flight from Bengaluru at 2:30 pm, while some chose to cancel. The DGCA and civil aviation authorities have asked the airline to submit a report on the technical issue.
