On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hoisted the national flag at his official residence in Bhopal as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. He also took a selfie with the Tricolour, symbolising pride and unity.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Yadav said the state government has made detailed arrangements to celebrate Independence Day. He has directed district administrations to ensure that every household displays the national flag. According to him, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement has become a source of pride for all citizens.

Addressing the media, Yadav highlighted that the successful completion of ‘Operation Sindoor’ has boosted patriotic enthusiasm across the country, with people expressing strong support for PM Modi. He urged all residents of Madhya Pradesh to join the campaign by hoisting the flag at their homes with pride.

Across the state, police and district administrations have been organising various programmes under the campaign, actively involving citizens and school children. In addition to local-level events, ‘Tiranga Yatras’ (flag marches) are being conducted in multiple districts. CM Yadav himself participated in a Tiranga Yatra in Gwalior on Tuesday and was scheduled to join another in Indore on Wednesday.

Senior BJP leaders, including Union Ministers, are also taking part in the initiative within their constituencies. For example, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a Tiranga Yatra in Vidisha, his parliamentary seat, on Wednesday. Before the launch, he celebrated Raksha Bandhan with women from self-help groups at Rabindranath Tagore Bhavan, blending cultural festivities with the spirit of patriotism.

The ongoing activities reflect the state’s commitment to making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a mass movement, celebrating national pride ahead of Independence Day.
