The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report in the case involving the recovery of a mobile phone and pen drive from the jail cell of former MP Prajwal Revanna has reportedly revealed details of the digital material stored on the devices.

According to police sources, 173 files were recovered from the mobile phone, while more than 100 videos were reportedly found on the pen drive. Investigators are examining the contents as part of the ongoing probe.

Police sources said the files on the mobile phone included movies and web-series content in Kannada, Hindi and English. They also reportedly found pornographic material, which is being examined as part of the digital evidence.

The police are also investigating how the mobile phone allegedly entered the prison. According to sources, Tausif, an accused in the DJ Halli violence case, is suspected of having handed over the phone to a jail warder. Investigators are probing the alleged role of the warder and the circumstances surrounding the device being taken into the prison.

The Parappana Agrahara police are examining call records and other data from the phone. Sources said Prajwal allegedly made WhatsApp and video calls to several people, including women, while he was in jail.

Investigators are also looking into reported calls involving his family members and lawyer. The call details and digital records will be examined before deciding on further action, police sources said.

The pen drive contents are also undergoing scrutiny. Police are reportedly considering sharing relevant material with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for further examination.
