India’s Karan Singh captured the men’s singles title at the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour M15 in Bali, Indonesia, completing a remarkable week without dropping a set.
The fourth-seeded Indian, ranked 604 in the ATP standings, defeated fifth seed Isaac Becroft of New Zealand 7-5, 7-6(3) in a tightly fought hard-court final. The victory gave Singh his fourth career title and his third title of the 2026 season, including his second in singles.
Training at the Roundglass Tennis Academy, Singh opened his campaign with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Indonesian qualifier Gunawan Trismuwantara. He then defeated wildcard Rafalentino Ali Da Costa 6-3, 6-2 in the second round.
Singh maintained his momentum in the quarterfinals, overcoming another Indonesian wildcard, Nathan Anthony Barki, 6-1, 6-4. He followed that with an authoritative semifinal performance against seventh seed Ryotaro Taguchi of Japan, winning 6-3, 6-3 to reach the final.
The Bali triumph adds to an impressive 2026 season for the 23-year-old from Karnal, Haryana. Just weeks earlier, Singh won the doubles title at the ITF M15 Astana in Kazakhstan alongside Russia’s Martin Borisiouk. The unseeded pair survived three consecutive match tiebreaks, including an upset against the top seeds, before beating Danial Rakhmatullayev and Damir Zhalgasbay 6-3, 6-2 in the final.
Singh reached a career-high singles ranking of 388 in August 2025 and a career-best doubles ranking of 436 in July 2025. He also won the 2024 Brazzaville Challenger doubles title with Florent Bax. The result underlines his consistency across singles and doubles this year.
