Actor Arjun Rampal has completed filming for filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project ‘O Saathi Re’, which features Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary in key roles.

Rampal marked the completion of the project by sharing pictures from the sets on social media. He posted photographs with Imtiaz Ali and Aditi Rao Hydari and expressed his affection for the team. The actor also said he would miss working with his co-stars and the filmmaker.

The project marks Rampal’s first professional collaboration with Imtiaz Ali. However, the two have known each other for years and were college friends. Rampal has earlier spoken about his excitement at finally being directed by his longtime friend.

‘O Saathi Re’ is described as a contemporary story with a vintage emotional core. The project has been presented as an urban fairy tale set against the challenges and relationships of metropolitan life.

Imtiaz Ali serves as the writer and showrunner, while his brother Arif Ali has directed the film. Rampal, Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary are part of the lead cast. The project is scheduled to premiere on Netflix.

After announcing the wrap, Rampal surprised fans by revealing a fresh appearance. He shared photographs after getting a new haircut from celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim. The actor said the makeover was for another upcoming film, details of which will be announced soon.

Rampal is also expected to work with filmmaker Hansal Mehta on ‘Billionaire’. He was recently seen in ‘Satluj’ and has featured in the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise.
