Ferrari will carry a special Michael Schumacher-inspired livery at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix in Monza, with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc set to race the SF-26 in a tribute to one of the most influential drivers in the team’s history.
The predominantly red design features white detailing on the upper section, gradually blending into the Ferrari red. Seven white stars appear on the nose, representing Schumacher’s seven Formula 1 world championships, including the five consecutive titles he won with Ferrari between 2000 and 2004. His personal logo is also incorporated into the design.
The special livery comes alongside commemorative race suits prepared for Hamilton and Leclerc. The suits feature seven stars on the back, white striping on the front and Schumacher’s personal logo.
Ferrari’s tribute coincides with two significant milestones. The Monza weekend marks 30 years since Schumacher made his Ferrari debut in 1996 and 20 years since his final season with the Maranello-based team.
Schumacher joined Ferrari after winning consecutive championships with Benetton in 1994 and 1995. He became central to Ferrari’s resurgence, helping develop the team before delivering five successive drivers’ championships from 2000 through 2004.
His seven world titles remain jointly the most in F1 history, with Hamilton later matching the record.
Ferrari has regularly introduced special Monza liveries in recent years. The team used yellow and black accents in 2022, a Le Mans-inspired design in 2023 and a retro 312T-inspired livery in 2025.
