Muslim community leaders have urged Rajya Sabha member Dr Syed Naseer Hussain to recommend KPCC coordinator Dr K.M. Syed for a Karnataka Legislative Council seat, citing his contribution to Congress organisation and public outreach. Leaders said Dr K.M. Syed has actively participated in party activities and helped communicate government welfare schemes to people. They also highlighted his coordination with leaders and workers from different communities and his efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. The leaders said his loyalty, organisational skills and social service deserve political recognition. They urged Naseer Hussain to raise his name with the party high command and seek an appropriate position. They expressed confidence that his appointment would strengthen Congress organisation and motivate party workers.
