BLURB– NTA has released admit cards for 49 AIAPGET candidates who could not complete their Jaipur exam due to power failure, with re-examination scheduled September 1.
New Delhi
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards for 49 candidates who will appear in the re-examination of the All-India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) in Jaipur on September 1. The re-examination was arranged after these candidates were unable to complete the test because of a power failure at their examination centre on August 22.
The re-examination will begin at 10 a.m. at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur. The NTA has advised all eligible candidates to download their admit cards from the official AIAPGET website and carefully check the details printed on them. Candidates must report at the centre according to the time mentioned on their admit cards.
The agency has also asked candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card and other required documents or items listed in the instructions. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the NTA website for further updates related to the examination.
The AIAPGET was conducted on August 22 for 36,979 registered candidates. Of these, 35,837 appeared in Shift-I at 200 centres across the country. The examination was completed by 35,788 candidates, while 49 candidates at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur could not finish because of the power failure.
The NTA attributed the lapse to Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination-conducting agency, and later issued it a show-cause notice. The September 1 re-examination will now give the affected candidates another opportunity to complete the entrance test.
