Shiggaon
A 40-year-old motorcycle rider was killed after a tipper lorry collided with his bike near Chinnikatti village in Shiggaon taluk. The deceased has been identified as Ramu Megappa Lamani, a resident of Dundasi Tanda. According to reports, Ramu was travelling on his motorcycle when a tipper lorry allegedly struck his vehicle. He sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed for medical assistance. However, he succumbed to his injuries before he could recover. Police officials visited the accident spot, conducted a preliminary inspection, and gathered information from witnesses. A case has been registered at Tadas Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
