Government clears encroached land in Ballari operation

District administration continued clearance operation against government land encroachment in Ballari Rural area today. It has taken possession of 15.05 acres of land under various survey numbers in the village limits. Officials said the land includes survey number 977 with 9.20 acres, 976 with 4.72 acres and 813 with 1.13 acres. The government land was officially taken over during a Saturday eviction drive.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Zubair N, Assistant Commissioner Rajesh H D, Tahsildar T Rekha and revenue and police officials took part in the operation. The district administration said the drive to remove encroachments on government property will continue in other areas to protect public land and ensure proper use of government resources for future development works in the region. Authorities also stated that the action was carried out after proper verification of records and survey documents and the land was identified as government owned property during earlier inspections conducted by revenue officials. Officials ensured peaceful execution of the operation with police support.
