Four special trains announced for Urs

South Central Railway has announced four special trains for the 622nd Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Banda Nawaz to facilitate devotees travelling from various regions. Train No. 07177 started operate from May 2 and in Hyderabad from May 5 at 11:55 am reaching Kalaburagi via multiple stations including Begumpet, Sanathnagar, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Sedam, and Wadi. Train No. 07178 will run on May 3 and May 6 from Kalaburagi to Hyderabad along the same route. Railway officials said the special arrangements aim to ensure smooth travel for large number of devotees attending the Urs festival. Services have been planned to manage heavy pilgrim rush efficiently during Urs celebrations in Kalaburagi.
